SUGGESTED ITINERARY
1. MT EDEN / MAUNGAWHAU SUMMIT
Visit one of Auckland’s most significant volcanic cones, rising 196 metres above sea level. Enjoy views across the city and its harbours, and see the impressive volcanic crater from the designated summit paths. Visitors must remain on formed paths and must not enter the crater.
2. AUCKLAND DOMAIN & WINTERGARDENS
Explore Auckland Domain, one of the city’s oldest public parks, and visit the historic Wintergardens, featuring tropical and temperate glasshouses, botanical displays and landscaped gardens.
3. TĀMAKI DRIVE & MISSION BAY
Enjoy a scenic drive along Auckland’s eastern waterfront to Mission Bay. Stop for photographs, coastal views and a short walk beside the beach, with optional free time for refreshments.
