Experience an exhilarating high-speed jet boat ride through Queenstown’s spectacular Shotover Canyons. Skim across shallow water at speeds of up to 90 km/h, navigate narrow canyon passages and enjoy the boat’s famous 360-degree spins, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and rugged scenery. Shotover Jet is the only operator permitted to run jet boats through these iconic canyons.

DURATION
Jet boat ride: approximately 25 minutes.
Self-drive experience: allow approximately 1 hour or more overall.
With return shuttle from central Queenstown: allow approximately 1 hour 45 minutes, including check-in and transfers.
LAST ENTRY / CHECK-IN
Self-drive: Check in at the river base at least 30 minutes before the booked departure.
Complimentary shuttle: Check in at the Station Building, central Queenstown, 45 minutes before the booked departure. Shuttle transport is available for selected departures only.
