Overview

Begin with a fully guided tour through the spectacular Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley, featuring native bush, bubbling mud pools and Pōhutu Geyser, the largest active geyser in the Southern Hemisphere. Visit the Kiwi Conservation Centre and the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute before enjoying a traditional-inspired buffet dinner at Pātaka Kai Restaurant & Bar. The evening continues with an authentic Māori cultural performance in the beautifully carved Te Aronui a Rua meeting house, featuring a traditional pōhiri (welcome), waiata (songs), mōteatea (chants), poi and haka. Conclude the experience with a stroll through the geothermal landscape while enjoying hot chocolate.
