Overview
Discover Māori culture, geothermal wonders and traditional arts at Te Puia in Rotorua. This combined experience includes a guided tour through the geothermal valley, a visit to the spectacular Pōhutu Geyser, an opportunity to explore the Kiwi Conservation Centre and the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute, and an authentic Māori cultural performance in the beautifully carved meeting house, Te Aronui a Rua. The performance features a traditional pōhiri (welcome), waiata (songs), mōteatea (chants), poi and haka, offering an engaging introduction to Māori heritage, traditions and ancestral stories.
